Drawing on archival research, oral histories, quantitative analysis, mapping and digital humanities approaches to better understand the complex ecologies of screen culture, HOMER has established itself as the international home for empirical histories of cinema exhibition, circulation and reception.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe HoMER book series builds on this internationally recognised legacy by providing a dedicated platform for cutting-edge research on moviegoing, exhibition and reception in their broadest senses. It foregrounds a diverse range of concerns, including audiences and cinema experiences, screening venues, programming and exhibition practices, film circulation and distribution, cinema architecture, technology, policy and the infrastructures of screen culture.
